COUNSELLING SERVICES

I am a certified Counsellor with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA) and a Licensed Therapist with the College of Licensed Counselling Therapists of New Brunswick.  I am also a Master Level Reiki Practitioner.

I completed my Masters of Education in Counselling Psychology at UNB in 2006 and have worked as a Counsellor, mainly with children and adolescents, over the past 13 years.  Being a mother of two wonderful children who couldn't be more different from one another, I understand the demands of parenting and the challenges parents can face when raising children with a variety of complex needs.  I provide a warm and safe environment for all my clients and have a natural ability to connect with youth. 

In addition to children and adolescents, I see adult clients for individual Counselling and love the balance this gives me in my work.  My Counselling services are covered by some private insurance companies and I am a Service Provider with a number of Employee and Family Assistance Programs (EFAPs), St. Mary's, Kingsclear, and Oromocto First Nations and Victim Services.
